What is Cyber Essentials Plus?

While the standard Cyber Essentials certification is a self-assessed benchmark, the Plus tier is a much more rigorous achievement. It requires an independent, accredited third-party assessor to perform a hands-on technical audit and vulnerability scan of our systems.

What does this demonstrate to our customers?

At ubloquity, our platform is trusted to handle critical, real-time IoT telemetry and immutable blockchain records for highly regulated sectors, including aerospace, defence, logistics, and agriculture. Achieving Cyber Essentials Plus serves as a powerful independent validation of our security-first architecture.

This milestone proves that our internal security measures, such as our 100 per cent adoption of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), strict capability-based access controls, and rapid 24-hour vulnerability remediation, are actively working to protect against commodity cyber attacks.

Cyber Essentials Plus is a mandatory requirement for suppliers handling sensitive data for the UK government, making us a fully compliant and trusted partner for the Ministry of Defence (MoD) and other public sector agencies.

Looking ahead
